Magna HD Plus 10W-40 is a Fully Synthetic, advanced, Heavy-Duty CK-4 Diesel Engine Oil specially designed to meet the new proposed category 11 (PC-11) specifications for heavy-duty-vehicles. The new category has been proposed to meet the latest emission reduction systems in Heavy-Duty Diesel Engines. To meet the challenges of diesel engines redesigned to drastically reduce engine emissions, whilst maintaining backward compatibility with older engine designs, the oil meets two separate and distinct subcategories: one that preserves historical heavy-duty oil criteria and one that provides additional fuel efficiency and economy benefits for modern diesel engine technology while maintaining advanced durability. To meet this challenge, Magna HD Plus 10W-40 provides improved engine performance in newer hotter running engines by maintaining increased oxidation stability, shear stability and reduced aeration. Magna HD Plus 10W-40 meets API credentials and is designed to meet the latest original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) performance specifications in appropriate grades and base stocks – including Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mack, Renault, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, and Ford. Magna HD Plus 10W-40 also meets the self-certifying requirements of ACEA E6 and E9.
