The triple deoxidised wire ensures improved weld deoxidation making the BOC 70S-2 TIG rod an excellent choice where best quality weld metal is required and for welding on metal with a medium level of mill scale or rust. BOC 70S-2 TIG rods are recommended for welding of low to medium tensile strength steel where good root toughness and radiographic soundness is required.
