Mental Health Foundation

We are fundraising to help the Mental Health Foundation provide free mental health resources which give people information and tools to look after their own wellbeing, and to support friends and whānau through tough times.

Our target is to raise $150,000 by 31 March 2025. Find out more about
our fundraising activity.

What We're Doing:

Mental Health Awareness Week

23-29 SEPTEMBER

Community is…what we create together. That’s the theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week.

Recent research commissioned by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand shows that community is key to getting through tough times.

This MHAW is a shout out to all New Zealanders to define, build, and celebrate their communities – wherever they find them. At Sime Darby, we will be looking at how we connect and support each other – and will be raising funds for Mental Health Foundation as we go.

What's Next?

AOTEAROA MENTAL HEALTH FILM FESTIVAL

(NOVEMBER 2024)

A festival celebrating locally made short films that help shift perspectives on mental health, one frame at a time.

THE MULLET MATTERS

(MARCH 2025)

Using mullets to raise funds and start conversations about mental health was an idea that came from the community and grew! The focus is to keep vital mental health resources free for the one in five of us who will experience a mental health challenge this year.
